Our staff is our greatest strength. The clinical team at the Mary Manning Centre consists of victim assistance and intake workers, and child and family therapists, all with Masters level credentials in counselling and art therapy. Clinical staff utilize a number of therapeutic modalities found to be essential when working with children and youth, such as art, play, theraplay, cognitive behavioural therapy, and techniques such as EMDR.
Staff members participate in professional training to increase their expertise and also provide training to other professionals in the community. Most of our therapists have been with the agency for more than ten years and our multidisciplinary team of counsellors, art therapists, intake workers, receptionists, practicum students, project assistants, and volunteers, serve many children and families every year.
